Our Curriculum Learning Journey 

Nettleworth Infant and Nursery school is a unique and wonderful school, we have identified the need to shape and drive the curriculum based on our school vision and ethos. We have developed 6 key curriculum drivers which underpin the learning and experiences we undertake in all areas of school life. These run as a thread throughout each curriculum subject to ensure our curriculum is enriched and implemented to provide appropriate and ambitious curriculum opportunities for our children to SHINE.

We want our pupils to have big ambitions and high expectations of themselves. We are an outward looking school, with a strong sense of community and we aim to create a curriculum that truly meets the needs of our children.

We understand the importance of our children's voices. Our curriculum maybe adapted at various points to allow for their interests to influence learning; one that is rich, exciting, broad and balanced. It should ignite curiosity, inspire and enable each individual child to develop academically, emotionally, creatively, socially and physically. It will enable all children to flourish and be the very best they can be.
